A message from Morgan Whitis who served as the Director of Recruitment Counselors on the Panhellenic Executive Counsel on UK Panhellenic for 2025 Recruitment:
Hi! My name is Morgan Whitis, and I’m a proud member of AC ’23!
This year, I had the honor and privilege of serving on the Kentucky Panhellenic Executive Board and Recruitment Team as the Director of Recruitment Counselors. Over the course of two weeks, I trained and oversaw 160 incredible Recruitment Counselors from our 14 Panhellenic chapters here on campus.
This opportunity was truly one of a kind. I experienced so much joy, love, and fun while creating bonds with women I may never have met otherwise. I am continually empowered by each Recruitment Counselor’s leadership, grace, and patience as they guided potential new members through the recruitment process.
I was especially grateful to share this journey with 15 of my Alpha Delta Pi sisters, making it an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. It reminded me of why I chose to go through recruitment and why I continue to choose Alpha Delta Pi every single day. We always say ADPi is forever, and I wholeheartedly believe that Panhellenic bonds, no matter a woman’s affiliation, are forever as well.
This experience is truly beyond words, but if I had to choose one, it would be Irreplaceable. The gratitude I have for each Recruitment Counselor will never waver; they were my “why” throughout the entire process, and I am in awe of the women they are.
Pi Love and All of Mine,
Morgan Whitis, AC ’23
A message from some of Alpha Delta Pi - Beta Psi’s who served as recruitment counselors on UK Panhellenic for 2025 Recruitment:
Ava Storelli - AC23’
This past year I had the privilege of serving as a Recruitment Counselor in the fall of 2025. It was an experience that completely reshaped the way I see Panhellenic life. When I first took on the role I knew it would be about guiding potential new members, but I did not realize just how much I would grow alongside them.
Starting spirit week from this new side felt like stepping into a whirlwind of nerves and excitement. I remember meeting my group for the first time and seeing the mix of anticipation and uncertainty on their faces. My goal was simple, to be someone they could count on, someone who listened and reminded them to trust themselves.
Throughout their primary recruitment process there were late night talks, early morning hype up sessions, and quiet moments where someone just needed reassurance that everything would work out. Those were the moments that reminded me of the importance of empathy and patience. By the end of the week I watched these women transform from being unsure of themselves to radiating confidence and joy.
Serving as a Recruitment Counselor was more than a leadership role, it was a chance to step outside of my own chapter and invest in the bigger Panhellenic community. It reminded me why I love being a part of Greek life and how powerful it can be when women support each other wholeheartedly.
Reflecting on it now, I am so thankful for the experience. It gave me a new perspective, new skills, and most importantly new memories that I will carry with me long after college.

Karly Fleckenstein - AC23’
My experience as a recruitment counselor for Primary Recruitment 2025 was nothing short of wonderful. The experience as a whole truly opened my eyes to the Panhellenic community and reminded me why I choose Panhellenic every day.
Getting to guide new members to their homes was truly something special. It brought me back to the same feelings I experienced as a potential new member. Too often, we forget how we felt going through recruitment, yet they are what connect us all through recruitment. Recruitment is an indescribable experience that has brought each of us to where we are now. Serving in this role reminded me not only of my own journey to my chapter but also of how challenging and rewarding recruitment can be. As grateful as I am to be a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sisterhood, I am just as grateful to be part of such an encouraging and inspiring Panhellenic community.
From the girls in my group to the other recruitment counselors at my station, and eventhe women I connected with during training, I was constantly reminded of the amazing community we are privileged to be a part of. This experience was a beautiful reminder that Panhellenic is so much bigger than any one chapter—it is a community built on encouragement, joy, and sisterhood. This experience has deepened my love for this community in ways I cannot even describe, and I feel so lucky to be a part of it. I will forever hold this experience close to my heart and cherish the impact it had on me.
Love,
Karly Fleckenstein, AC ‘23
Kali Mulcahy - AC23’
My name is Kali Mulcahy, a member of AC ’23, and I have had the opportunity to be a recruitment counselor during 2025 Primary Recruitment. I had the priviledge to meet and mentor 9 amazing girls, and help them through the process of finding their forever home! I learned how to be a steady, encouraging presence for others, even in moments of uncertainty. This role helped me find confidence in myself and reminded me of the importance of leading with compassion. It also deepened my connection to the Panhellenic community as a whole seeing the beauty of sisterhood across all chapters.
I could not speak any more highly of this role and all that it has taught me throughout the process. This experience also brought me so much closer to the other recruitment counselors. From early mornings, to late nights, from leaning on each other, and laughing with each other, I developed such a strong bond with the women that uplifted me and surrounded me.
Running back home on Bid Day for the second time was even more special. Returning to a chapter of girls who have shaped me into the person I am today filled my heart with gratitude and admiration.
This experience didn’t just shape my college experience, it helped shape me into the person I am today. I am forever indebted to Alpha Delta Pi and Panhellenic for giving me the opportunity to be among an amazing community of women!
Pi love,
Kali Mulcahy AC ‘23
Mj Scholten - AC23’
My name is Mj Scholten and I am a part of AC '23. This past recruitment season I was a Recruitment Counselor (formerly known as Gamma Chi) and I had the most phenomenal experience. I was given the responsibility of guiding 13 Freshman girls all living in Donovan Hall through a very difficult time and transition. With bringing 11 of them to Bid Day with me, it was a process to get there. Between what may have been the longest weekend of my life, I grew so fond of each and everyone one of them. These girls pushed me to be a leader, a better friend, and a more empathetic person. From this experience I gained so much emotional strength and support. Tears may have been shed in the roller coaster that can be sorority recruitment but keeping in mind that everything happens for a reason was key. I have always been a little sister and for once I got the opportunity to feel like the oldest sibling. I loved this experience, the person it shaped me into, and the friendships I gained; and I would encourage anyone to allow themselves this opportunity.
Maddie Serve - AC23’
Hi, my name is Maddie Servé. I am a member of AC ‘23, and this past recruitment season I had the opportunity to serve as a Recruitment Counselor for Kentucky Panhellenic. Freshman year, I made an unforgettable bond with my Recruitment Counselor, and I know I wouldn’t have been able to make it through recruitment without her. She left a lasting impact on me and inspired my dream of being a Recruitment Counselor. After experiencing both sides of recruitment, I knew I had to experience being a Recruitment Counselor.
I had the privilege of counseling 13 freshman girls and helping 10 of them find their forever home. Little did I know the impact these girls would have on me. I knew this recruitment year would be challenging for everyone, including us Recruitment Counselors. This was the first year the University of Kentucky Panhellenic held an online Open House round, and it was also a record breaking year for the number of PNMs. You might think the hardest part of this experience was sitting outside for more than 12 hours at a time and getting barely any sleep, but the hardest part for me was getting to know these amazing girls inside and out and then watching them lose confidence in themselves when they weren’t invited back to their top house. But the most rewarding part was seeing it work out in the end for these girls, and seeing the happiness on their faces after opening their bid day cards and running home. But the most rewarding part was watching everything come together in the end and seeing the joy on their faces as they opened their bid day cards and ran home will forever be one of my favorite memories.
I am forever grateful that I had the opportunity to serve as a Recruitment Counselor. This experience allowed me to lead impressionable freshman girls as they entered a new place, a new experience, and a new chapter of life. It allowed me to build bonds with 13 new best friends. It gave me the chance to see recruitment from a whole new perspective. It reminded me to feel grateful for my own recruitment journey. It helped me grow as a person. It let me be a sister to all of these girls. I am forever indebted to this amazing experience and will recommend it to any upcoming Junior or Senior, because it truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity you do not want to miss.
Love,
Maddie Servé, AC ‘23
Rachel Bryant-White - AC23’
Serving as a Recruitment Counselor for Primary Recruitment 2025 has been one of the most meaningful experiences and opportunities of my college career. Going through this process from a different perspective gave me a new appreciation for the Panhellenic community and how it extends far beyond my own chapter.
Throughout recruitment week, I had the privilege of helping nine women as they began not only their college journey but also a new chapter within our Panhellenic community. Watching them find their place on this campus and within Panhellenic reminded me just how powerful sisterhood and this experience can be. This experience was not without its challenges. There were long days, little sleep, and plenty of emotional ups and downs for everyone. However, those hardships served as reminders of why I wanted to be part of this experience in the first place. Every moment, even the difficult ones, was worthwhile come Bid Day. Reflecting on this experience, I realized how much I had grown, not only as an individual but also as a leader, mentor, and friend. This experience showed and reminded me that sisterhood extends far beyond chapter letters.
I will always cherish this experience and am endlessly grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of something so impactful. The relationships I built with my PNMs became something truly special, and I am so thankful that our bond has lasted well beyond my time as their RC. If you are considering taking on this experience, I cannot encourage it enough. It is so rewarding. Although I would do it again and again, I am also so happy to be back home with the chapter I fell in love with as a PNM.
Pi love,
Rachel Bryant-White, AC’23
