Letters of Love
Grace Barton - VP of Marketing
Being a part of Letters of Love for the past two years has been such a meaningful experience for me. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such genuine, kindhearted women who make this organization what it is. I love how LOL brings people together in such a positive way, allowing us to create something small yet impactful for others who might really need a reminder of love and encouragement. From serving as VP of Community Relations last year to now stepping into the role as VP of Marketing, I am beyond excited to share more about our mission and help spread that joy to even more people. This organization has truly been a bright spot in my college experience, and I can’t wait for everything this year holds!
Rachel Bryant-White - VP of Sponsorship and Outreach
Serving as Vice President of Sponsorship and Outreach for Letters of Love has been one of the most rewarding and impactful experiences of my college journey. This role has allowed me to combine creativity, compassion, and leadership to make a difference in the lives of others. Working to connect with local businesses and organizations to support our mission taught me how powerful collaboration and community can be when people come together for something bigger than themselves. Throughout my time on the exec team, I’ve learned how small acts of kindness can create ripples of hope. From writing cards to coordinating sponsorships, every step reminded me why I fell in love with this organization. I’m so grateful for the friendships, experiences, and lessons this position has given me. Letters of Love has shaped my college experience in the best way, and I’m incredibly excited to see how it continues to grow.
Keena Sutton - VP of Sponsorship and Outreach
Being able to serve on the exec team for Letters of Love has been such a special and fulfilling experience. As soon as I heard about the LOL organization I immediately knew it was something I wanted to get involved in! As VP of Sponsorship and Outreach I have been able to establish connections around our community and especially on campus. It has been such a blessing to see this club grow, and most importantly see the impact we are making in children’s lives!
Ellie Benge - VP of Merchandise
Hi everyone! My name is Ellie Benge and I am currently the Vice President of Merchandise for Letters of Love at the University of Kentucky. Within this role, I design pieces for organization members to wear around campus, promoting the non-profit, and part of our proceeds go back to Letters of Love National. I have learned many things within this role. Before this position I didn’t even know what Letters of Love was, and now it is a part of my daily life. Creating merchandise is the smallest piece of this role - learning leadership, humility, collaboration, and team-building has set the foundation of my position, but creating these cards and knowing we are bringing smiles to sick children is what matters the most. Letters of Love ad Kentucky has continued to grow and flourish within campus, and knowing so many students have come to our meetings, even if it is just to make one card - it’s constantly creating happiness for these kids! I’m so grateful to have a small part in this organization and cannot wait to see all the wonderful things we will do within this school year!
Clarah Pazienza - Fundraising
I decided to join Letters of Love last year because I was deeply moved by the incredible impact these letters have on children going through difficult times. Seeing that impact firsthand during my pediatrics rotation made it even more special, and I knew I wanted to contribute more by sharing ideas and supporting the organization however I could. This experience has made the mission of Letters of Love feel even more personal and real to me. I'm excited to help others experience the same joy and purpose I’ve felt being part of this organization. I’m looking forward to bringing fun, creative ideas that our members will love, getting more people involved, and continuing to support kids and families in ways that truly matter.
Kensey Clayton - Treasurer
Letters of Love combines a tangible letter with an intangible sense of belonging and comfort by sharing uplifting messages through colorful, handmade, and heartfelt cards. It creates a community around & makes accessible making a real difference in real children’s lives. It is my honor to serve on the Executive team for Letters of Love because you not only get to experience the positive influence it has on those writing the cards but understand the impact it has on those receiving the cards. I have also gotten the chance to collaborate with and admire those on the Executive team, many of them being my sisters. Letters of Love has created a home away from home for me and many others across this campus while providing the opportunity for philanthropy and leadership.
