Sweet Sisterhood Events!
I am beyond grateful to say that my time as a new member of Alpha Delta Pi has been such a special experience. I have truly never felt so loved and appreciated like this before. Going through recruitment, I had a very open mind. I wanted a place I could call home. A place where I could feel seen. A place where community, leadership, and education is valued. I can proudly say I have found that here at ADPi. We are such an uplifting and loving community. It’s really the small things that matter the most to me. A sister asking to walk to chapter dinner together. A sister asking to study together. A sister making sure I’m not walking home alone. We truly can’t leave each other alone and I love that about us!
Recently, I got to experience ADPialtes with my new sisters! I haven’t had the chance to do mat Pilates since K week. I had an amazing time being beside my girls while getting a good workout in. I love taking workout classes since group workouts motivate me to push myself and preform my best. Pilates in the ADPi house allowed me to feel more comfortable and relaxed since I was surrounded by uplifting women. My favorite part of any event is taking pictures so we made sure to take lots of group pictures together and with our instructor. To end off, we enjoyed some refreshing strawberry matcha drinks and all gathered around talking about going to more pilate classes together. This was such a great bonding moment and I will be at our next workout event!
To me, sisterhood goes beyond wearing the same letters. Sisterhood means being surrounded by women who support, uplift, and encourage one another through every stage of life. It is about creating a foundation built on trust, respect, loyalty, and genuine love. It’s a place where everyone feels valued, accepted, and comfortable being themselves. Regardless of our differences, we are all still one big family. We celebrate each other’s accomplishments, aspirations and goals. I recently ran for First Year Undergraduate Senator for UKSGA and received an abundant amount of support from ADPi. These girls never failed to go above and beyond for me. They have already exceeded what I look for in a friend. I mean it when I say I never thought I could find a community like this after high school. Sisterhood is being there for each other during difficult moments, and reminding one another of our worth and potential. We are already building meaningful relationships and creating lasting memories. Our sisterhood is about creating a home away from home, where every woman feels a sense of belonging and knows she never has to navigate life alone.

Hi!!!! My name is Ella Robinson and I am a part of AC ‘26! I am so excited to share what sisterhood means to me and give you a little insight into a sisterhood event we just had here at ADPi!
The ADPilates event was such a thoughtful and fun event that I was so lucky to experience. Me and other sisters were led through a challenging, full-body workout hosted by the wonderful Seraphine's Pilates here in Lexington, KY. Big shoutout to our instructor, ….. , who did an AMAZING job!! I am so lucky to be surrounded by a sisterhood that challenges me to grow in more ways than one. It was so much fun getting to try something new together, challenge ourselves, and encourage one another throughout the workout. One of my favorite parts about being in ADPi so far has been getting to experience events like this that bring us closer together while allowing us to step outside of our comfort zones. Whether we are working out together, attending sisterhood events, or simply spending mundane moments with one another, every experience has given me another reason to be grateful for this sisterhood!
To me, sisterhood means having a group of girls who support, encourage, and uplift you in every season of life. It means celebrating each other's accomplishments, showing up for one another during challenging times, and creating memories that will last far beyond our time in college. My time in ADPi has already shown me how special it is to be surrounded by women who genuinely want to see each other succeed and become the best versions of themselves. I love that sisterhood is not just about the big moments or planned events, but also about the little things, like the conversations, the countless laughs, and the friendships that make a simple day feel so special. I am so excited to continue building these meaningful relationships over the next 4 years!
One of the biggest reasons why I chose and continue to choose ADPi, is the feeling of belonging, love, and genuine connection that I felt from the very beginning. I wanted to find a sisterhood that would encourage me to grow as a person, push me outside of my comfort zone, and surround me with girls who inspire me every day. ADPi has already given me so many opportunities to do just that, and I am so grateful for every event, friendship, and memory that has made my experience so special so far. Events like ADPilates are a perfect example of what makes this sisterhood so meaningful to me because they remind me that we can have fun, challenge ourselves, and grow together all at once. I am beyond thankful that I get to call ADPi home, and I cannot wait to see what the rest of my time in this chapter holds!
